Baharudin Ahmad obtained his B.Litt (Hons) from the National University of Malaysia, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Temple University, U.S.A. He is currently Associate Professor (Comparative Religion and Malay Literature) at ISTAC. He has written two books on literature and the philosophy of science and a number of articles in international and national journals. Currently, Dr. Baharuddin is working on a research project, Islam in Wolrd History, to be published as an encyclopedia of history and culture. Dr. Baharuddin is among a few Malaysian scholars who had delivered their talks in the Smithsonian Institution and churches of different denomination in the United States.
