BRIEF PROFILE:
Dr. Wan Lei, an ethnic Hui minority man from central China's Henan province. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (in English) from Henan University in 1984 atKaifeng, his Master of Arts (in English Language and Literature) from Wuhan University in 1992 at Wuhan and his Master of Human Science (in Literary Studies) from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 1999 at Kuala Lumpur. He has just passed the viva voce of his PhD thesisentitled "The Hui and the Republican Revolution, 1911-1949"
in the Faculty of Arts and Social Science of the University of Malaya.
Dr. Wan Lei is also a member of "The National Hui-ology [ie, Hui Studies] Society of China".
